What is a Docking Station?

Imagine a situation wherein, you need to connect the following devices externally to the laptop:

1. A regular keyboard, if your preference is to towards a separate keypad
2. A mouse, much comfortable option than the laptop touchpad
3. An external monitor, if you want a bigger display than your current laptop screen
4. A printer
